- In Germany, police raided and shut a similar school to remove children from danger. Naturally, Miscavige says this is because of their 'nazi history'. Actually, it's because of their experience with totalitarian regimes, they have mechanisms to make sure democracy is protected.
- Other groups this agency watches: radical islam (like the 9/11 people), extreme right (like nail bombers), far left (communist terrorists) and espionage.
Greenfields School opened in 1981 in Cowden, West Sussex
- with 35 children. ALL children were Scientologists.
- Margaret Hodkin started the school with Mark McQuade.
Paramilitary Sea Org
- NONE of the teachers were properly trained.
- ALL children ended up in the Sea Org
Expansion
In the first two years, the number of pupils increased to 100. Margaret Hodkin got the building in Forest RowMass expulsions of children based on parents' 'religious' beliefs - 1982
In 1982, many Scientologists were declared "SPs" (enemies of the cult), and their children were forced to leaveMartina Douglas Suicide
- Martina Douglas, a part time teacher at the school, committed suicide. She was having auditing (counselling) at Saint Hill Manor. She was on one of the high levels. She hung herself, leaving behind a little daughter.
Mark Kent - Appalling Child Abuse
- Mark Kent, who was not a Scientologist, was employed by Margaret Hodkin.
- Margaret Hodkin was very fond of Mark Kent; she made him ‘Head Of Ethics’ and gave him free board.
- He joined as a sports teacher, when Greenfields School moved to Forest Row.
- She bought a large house for the boarding pupils; Mark Kent had total control over all of them.
- He sexually abused pupils. He was, eventually, caught and jailed for molesting young boys.
- Mark Kent has been PhotoShopped out of all the school photos. (You may notice unusual gaps)
Mark McQuade - having sex with girls he knew from childhood
- From the outset, Mark McQuade acted like a "nutcase"; he would scream at the children. (He has calmed down a lot since the 1980s - thankfully!)
- He has no qualifications as a teacher. He puts "MA Oxon" after his name - he bought this title.
- A few people, such as Nina Klötzli, have written to dispute the assertion that he screamed at children. McQuade has mellowed out since the 80s; thankfully.
- The fact that he fucked girls he raised from a young age is undisputed. He even married one of them. (As far as I know, all girls were over the age of consent).
Adam Hebblewhite Slits His Throat
Adam Hebblewhite committed suicide; he cut his throat. Adam was at University & was getting auditing (counselling) at St. Hill. It’s very common for Scientologists to have mental breakdowns.
They are taught to fear and hate the very people who can help them, psychologists and/or psychiatrists. Or even counsellors.Slave Labour
- Many Greenfields children ended up as slaves at the International Gold Base.
- Some examples -
- Astra Croft (Astra Fear), Gali Barram, Ailon Barram, Abigail Whittaker (Miller), Jessika Wieneke (Gilchrist)

Life at INT (Gold Base)
Initially, these kids (well, young adults) went to Gold Base (Int) voluntarily. They wanted to help, and bring Scientology to the world. What happens when they try to leave?FORCED Abortions

❝The head of the Scientology school in East Grinstead was being called as a witness. She denied that a twelve-year-old girl had received a 'withhold pulling session' at the hands of three of the school's staff. To 'pull withholds' is Scientologese for making someone confess to their transgressions. Minutes of the schools board meetings had to be publicly available, yet the filed copy made no reference to the 'withhold-pulling' session. I obtained an _unedited_ copy of the school's board minutes, which not only proved the headmistress's sworn statement untrue, but showed the school's attempt at concealment. ❞

Evening Argus Reporter sent death threats
Journalist Paul Bracchi investigated Scientology in the mid 1990s while working at the Evening Argus in East Grinstead. He recounted the case of a Scientologist who had been accused of stealing documents from Saint Hill Manor, and was told in writing that he was a suppressive person and Fair Game. The man's wife told Bracchi, "For months after, we had anonymous notes delivered in the post almost daily. They said, 'You bastard,' 'You're dead,' 'Nothing will save you.' It was terribly frightening."[55]

"It is portrayed as a typical private school. But the glossy Greenfields brochure, which boasts of academic success and a happy environment for children, does not tell the whole story. One important word is missing from the booklet - Scientology"
