I have owned and run A Gallery, a contemporary art gallery, formerly based in South London, for almost fourteen years. We have risen to a reputation as one of the best star spotters in the UK, with artists we have shown going on to win a BAFTA (British equivalent of an Oscar), the largest portrait prize in the world (BP Award, 3 times), and other major accolades. In 2009 I was head-hunted to open GGGallery in Notting Hill where I generated £250,000 of art press in its first month including featuring the opening of its main artists show on Channel 4 and the entire back page of Design Week. I resigned from GGGallery at the end of 2010 to concentrate on a few international shows and opening a new gallery in America in 2011.
